A collection of twenty-one U. S. Franklin silver half dollars. The coins date to 1953 – P (2), 1952 – P (2), 1952 – D (3), 1951 – P (9), 1951 – D (2) and 1950 – D (3). Each has 90% silver and 10% copper composition. The designer-engraver was John R. Sinnock, one coin’s diameter is 30.60 mm, and the weight of each is 12.50 grams. The mintage ranges from 25,395,600 (1952-D) to 2,796,920 (1953-P).
