A copy painting after Rosseau’s composition of hunting dogs by an artist with the name W. Wiggam. This painting depicts three dogs standing attentively, one of which peers forward with an open mouth within tall grass, with an autumnal landscape to the distance. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted inscription crediting the original artist, as well as a signature. The painting is presented in a painted white wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
