Mid Century Modern "DCM" Side Chair by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller

A vintage Mid Century Modern DCM side chair by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. The chromed-steel frame features a contoured back and seat in walnut-faced plywood with round, rubber shock mounts. It rises on splayed, tubular legs ending in floor glides. The underside of the seat retains a partially obscured date stamp appearing to read ‘9 51’ or ‘9 61’, otherwise there are no maker’s marks.

Condition

- back is detached from shock mounts; some light scratches and small nicks; a few small veneer chips/losses; seat with a ring stain near back edge; some minor oxidation to floor glides; other minor surface wear as would be expected.
