A unique French hand crafted folk art doll. The doll has a woven body wrapped with metallic ribbon. The face is hand painted on cloth and the hat it is wrapped in the same ribbon. The arms, legs and tassels on the hat are bendable and the tassels have bells on the ends. The skirt is created with ribbons tipped with bells. The top of the body is removable and inside of the cavity is a small brush and a label which reads, ‘Made in France.’. A ribbon loop is attached to the back of the head. An extra head is included.

Condition

to fair, some of the ribbons are fraying and separating from the body.
