A Wm. Ainsworth & Sons, Inc. precision analytical balance scale Type BB, No. 26664, produced in Denver, Colorado, c. mid 20th-century. The scale is housed in a lacquered wood case with glass windows. Adjustable knobs on the exterior of the case allow for use of the scale with the door closed, ensuring accuracy. Sitting on four, adjustable brass feet with a single pull out drawer. The front drawer displays a sticker from the retailer, Schaar & Company.
