Item Details
An antique Mexican Retablo oil painting on tin of St. Camillus de Lellis, early 20th-century. Dedicated to the sick, Camillus stands over an ill child with the holy spirit present to his left and surrounding demonic figures. To the lower edge is Camillus’ name. The painting is presented in a hand made cut and hammered tin frame with glass.
Condition
- paint loss and speckling present throughout; tin sheet is bent and damaged in the corners and along the edge, wavy; some rust damage to the frame throughout.
