A pair of antique Windsor thumb-back side chairs in later green paint, circa 19th century. The wooden frames feature contoured, tablet crests above arrow-type spindles joined to shaped, plank seats. They rise on splayed, bamboo-turned legs joined by box stretchers.

Condition

- to fair; scattered scratches, nicks, and marks; some small paint losses and distressing, some of which is possibly intentional; green paint is later; one seat with a couple of minor shrinkage cracks near back.
