An antique Pennsylvania grain-painted corner cupboard, circa 1820-1830. The two-part, poplar case retains an old, ochre-grained surface. The upper section features a flared cornice above a glazed, twelve-light door opening to a four-shelf, cream-painted interior with applied plate strips. The lower section has two blind-paneled doors concealing an unpainted, two-shelf interior. Both case sections are flanked by canted stiles and the corner cupboard rises on a molded base ending in shaped, front feet.

Condition
- to fair; some light scratches and small marks, with slightly heavier wear to mid-molding and feet; alligatoring to finish throughout; retains old, if not original, glass panes; one glass pane is cracked while a few others have scratches; left corner of mid-molding with a large chip/loss; missing right corner of base molding; interior cream paint is later with flaking and losses, thereby revealing an older painted surface underneath; door latches and locks are later; no keys; other minor surface wear as would be expected with age and use.
