An original watercolor painting on paper by well listed Dutch – American artist and educator Tony Van Hasselt AWS. This painting depicts a turn of the century farmhouse in a rural setting. Several figures are visible conversing while chickens roam free in the yard. The artist has used expressive fields of color as well as simplified forms and drips and splatters, lending this piece a fresh contemporary appearance. The painting is signed by hand to the lower left. It is presented in gray and white matting, behind glass, an in a dark stained wood frame. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
