Gorham "Chantilly" Sterling Silver Flatware Set
Item Details
A large collection of Gorham sterling silver flatware in the 1895 Chantilly pattern. The pattern features scrolled profiles to the handles with a floral crest to the top. The pattern was introduced in 1895 and retired in 1950. The set includes eight of each: hollow handled dinner knives, individual butter knives, dinner forks, fish forks, teaspoons, dessert spoons, shrimp forks, and soup spoons. The set also includes three large serving spoons, one large ladle, one small ladle, a fruit spoon, a hollow handled carving set, and one child’s place setting. The total approximate weight of the set, excluding the hollow handled knives, is 65.725 ozt. The set is presented in a cherry stained flatware chest.
