An oil painting on canvas titled Thieves Hide-A-Way by American artist Mel Bradshaw (21st Century), created 1984. The work depicts a figurative scene featuring a traditional stone building and a rider with several horses. To the bottom left, the work is signed and dated in paint. A metal plaque with the title and artist name printed is attached to the frame. The painting is presented in a decorative tarnished gold toned wood and gesso frame with a fabric fillet.

Western painter Mel Bradshaw (21st Century) was born in Durango, Colorado and has spent most of his life in the American West. Currently the artist resides with his wife in Arizona and continues to produce genre paintings based on his first hand experiences of the landscape and lifestyle of his youth. Bradshaw’s paintings are displayed in several private collections and magazine publications including Old West and Western Horseman.
