A vintage oil painting on canvas signed M. Mayer. This landscape painting depicts a view of snow capped ridges with sheer rock walls from across a lake at sunset. Two sailboats are visible on the lake, framed by tall evergreen trees in the foreground. The work is signed ‘M. Mayer’ in the lower left. It is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- notable tear in canvas to bottom left side
- discoloration to piece
- minor wear to corners and surface of frame
