A collection of children’s books based on popular Western heroes from television and other media. This collection includes three hardcover tie-in novels published by the Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin: Gene Autry and the Badmen of Broken Bow (circa 1951), Red Ryder and the Mystery of Whispering Walls (c. 1941) and two editions of Gene Autry and the Thief River Outlaws (c. 1944). Also included is the hardcover novel Rin Tin Tin and the Ghost Wagon Train (Screen Gems, Inc., c. 1958) and the paperback coloring book Hi-Yo, Silver!: Cut-Out Coloring Book Featuring the Lone Ranger (Giant Funtime Books-Pocket Books, c. 1958).
