Early 1900s Inspired Sword Bayonet and Scabbard

Item Details

A sword bayonet. This piece is inspired by designs used by several nations in the World Wars; features a loop cross guard with diamond patterning on the dark wood tone handle and is held in a leather scabbard with metal ends and rounded finial pommel. The production number ‘56388’ is stamped on the side of the ricasso.

Condition

- various degrees of wear and residue to the blade and scabbard; oxidation present on the blade; residue collected around the cross guard; the blade point is dulled.
