A Chinese bamboo carving of a boy on a water buffalo from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). This unusual carving features a chubby young boy on the back of a grazing water buffalo. It is unsigned.

Condition

- mildew and water spots cover the carving; cracks throughout the base and to a lesser extent throughout the rest of sculpture; the boy’s hat is splintering around the edges; dust and debris.
