An oil painting on canvas titled Silent Eyes by listed Oklahoma artist K. Henderson (born 1954). This painting features a stoic Native American man with piercing eyes dressed in traditional regalia rendered with exceptional realistic detail and vibrant hues. It is signed in paint to the lower right and titled on a plaque to the lower margin. This painting is presented without glass in a gilt wooden frame with ornate gesso moulding with an inner linen border.
K. Henderson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and in known for her detailed western, equestrian, and Native American portraits inspired by her Native American heritage. She has won many awards and is a member of the Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society (NOAPS) Signature member, International Guild of Realism, and Single Action Shooters Society (SASS).
