1960s Atlas Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar and Case

Item Details

A vintage 1960s imported Japanese semi-hollow body electric guitar. This guitar was imported by the Atlas Musical Instrument Company of Hicksville, Long Island, NY, and has the hand-penciled model AC-2 to its interior. It features a tobacco sunburst finish with f-holes, a black pickguard, tremolo system, dual humbucking pickups, two-way mic switch, volume knob, and tone knob. It is marked ‘Japan’ to the nut. A vintage chipboard case is included.

Condition

- crack in the top of the guitar; volume pot may need replacement and top toggle switch not fully functional; otherwise untested.
