A pairing of two handwoven Zulu baskets. Woven from wetland grass and ilala palm leaves dyed with extracts from leaves, roots, wood ash, and other natural materials, these pot-shaped, lidded baskets features geometric diamond and striped patterns to their sides. One basket comes with an informational card signed with the artist’s name, Lucy Machi, and both originate from South Africa.
