Empire Style Arm Chair

Item Details

An Empire style arm chair, having a mahogany finish and gilt carved frame. The angular backs are upholstered in a woven branch pattern with leaves, above a multi-colored velvet stripe, on the arm pads and seat. The scrolled arms are supported on turned front legs with classical carved and gilt detail. Late 20th century.
