An oil painting on board titled Flute Player by Fred Tompler (21st Century). The work depicts a scene featuring solitary figure in Native American regalia of blue and tan with a stylized background. To the bottom left, the work is signed in paint. A plaque is attached to the frame with the title and artist name. The painting is presented in a decorative wood and gesso frame without glass.

Fred Trompler (21st Century) is an award winning painter living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2003 he won the Trail of Tears Art Show grand-prize. The artist is known for his Native American inspired paintings.

- minor surface abrasions to composition; painting is slightly loose in frame; surface and edge wear to frame; residue to the verso.
