Vintage Mexican-Style Tortilla Warming Woven Basket
Item Details
A vintage Mexican-style woven tortilla basket with original lid. The purpose of this hand-crafted basket was to keep tortillas warm while one would sit down to dine at their Fiesta party. Designed in a circular shape, this basket has a brown geometrical pattern adorned with a red and brown starburst around its protruding top. Circa 1960s. and could be used for a variety of purposes.
Condition
No holes. Fading and discoloration. There is a piece of metal wire holding the lid to the basket to keep both together.
