A limited edition, signed seriolithograph by Marco Sassone (Italian, 1942). Piece features an Old World doorway with metal gate flanked by stone and flowers in earth tones. This print is signed in pencil by the artist to lower right with edition in pencil to the lower left. Piece is presented with gilt accented mat, under glass and showcased in a significant wooden frame.

Marco Sassone is an American-Italian artist who was born in Campi Bisenzio, Italy and would later study in Florence and settle in Laguna Beach, California. The 1967 flood in Florence strongly influenced him and he would be knighted by the Italian President in 1982. Sassone has held many exhibitions across North America and Europe and he now resides in Toronto, Canada.
