Antique Chinese Bronze Mirror with Applique and Etched Details
Item Details
An antique Chinese bronze mirror with applique children and etched details including a phoenix dated during the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912). The item depicts three children playing with a variety of instruments with a phoenix soaring above. To the verso, the surface of the bronze was traditionally polished to act as a mirror.
Condition
- some wear to the edges of the item; some scratches to the surface of the decorative side of the item; to the verso, tarnish, scratches, and wear to the surface.
