A limited edition signed mezzotint etching City II by well listed South African-English artist and educator Leonard Marchant (1929-2000). This abstract piece is comprised of two distinct elements. and inner composition in dark blue and an outer composition, in a lighter blue. Both compositions are comprised of a myriad of small organic elements, line work, and hidden text. This print is signed, titled and numbered 34/75 by hand in graphite to the lower margin. The piece is presented in a blue-green fabric covered matting, behind glass, and a silver-tone beveled wood frame with a black liner. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang and includes a document with information about the artist.

Condition

- there is some wear to the frame, resulting in loss of pigment.
