A Russian replica sterling silver plaque of a Byzantine icon. This piece depicts a Greek Orthodox depiction of the Last Supper worked on sterling silver with gold tone accents to the halos of Jesus and his Disciples, as well as to items on the table, the tablecloth, seats, building roofs in the background, and the corners of the scrolled acanthus leaf frame. The piece is presented mounted on dark mahogany stained wooden board with a hook to verso. The back is marked with an information piece explaining what the pic is and that it is made from 925 silver or sterling. The front of the piece is additionally stamped, ‘925’.
