Cast Iron Teapot and Other Japanese Serveware
Item Details
A collection of Japanese serveware including a cast iron teapot. The teapot is made from black metal and features a square body and square foot. It is impressed with an unidentified character mark. Also included are two trays and one lidded bowl, all with black and red lacquer like finish and bamboo motif. There is a sticker to the underside of one tray reading, ‘Made in Japan’ and the bowl is marked the same.
Condition
- faint surface marks present from prior use; would benefit from cleaning; red numbers to underside of teapot.
