A collection of vintage coin silver spoons. This group features two spoons by Theodore Evans & Company of New York, NY (active c.1855 – 1865) that have a retailer’s mark of S.H. Smith over the “T E & Co.” mark. These pieces are presented with two spoons by MaCarty & Hurlbert of Philadelphia, PA (active 1876 – 1888), a spoon from Berlin jewelry and silver firm Hall & Rathenau (founded c.1842), and a German spoon marked “A & B.” Also included are three large spoons. One is marked, “G.Baker” for George Baker who was active in Providence, RI from 1824 – 1867, while the other two are marked, “Coin” with no discernible maker marks. The total approximate weight of all the spoons is 7.765 ozt.

- minor surface wear including marks and scratches throughout; some handles show personalized engraving.
