Antique Primitive Farming Utility Knife
Item Details
An antique primitive farming knife. This long blade knife consists of a worn wooden handle. The handle presents four holes that appear on both sides. With a steel blunted blade, there are no maker’s marks or identification initials. Appears to be handcrafted dating to the 1800s or before. This type of knife was used by farmers for clearing out vegetation or other daily tasks.
Condition
The handle exhibits wood loss with raised grain. Slitting of the wood from service wear. The blade is pitted with areas of rust.
