A signed limited edition artist’s proof offset lithograph reproduction with remarque of a painting by well-listed and renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati, born 1924) titled Sand Hill Cranes from the Marshland Series. The print depicts a pair of sand hill cranes taking flight over marshland grasses with a cloud-filled blue sky to the background. The print’s title is printed to the lower center, and the print is signed in-plate and by the artist to the lower right. The print is numbered 154 from an edition of 950 in pencil to the lower margin. A graphite remarque of a sand hill crane head is featured to the lower border. This print is matted in triple mats in light cream, charcoal gray and black, presented behind glass, and framed in a vintage veneered wood with wood filet, wired to hang.
