A 1980 signed limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of a painting by well-listed and renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati, born 1924) titled Swallow-tailed Kites from the Birds of Prey Series. The print depicts a pair of swallow-tailed kites soaring high above white clouds with a blue sky to the background. The print’s title is printed to the lower center, and the print is signed and dated in-plate to the lower left. The print is signed and numbered 138 from an edition of 500 in pencil to the lower margin. This print is matted in off white, presented behind glass, and framed in a beveled two-tone dark stained wood, wired to hang.
