Herend "Rothchild Bird" Porcelain Bud Vases and Argentinian Mate Cup Set

A pair of Herend Rothchild Bird bud vases and an Argentinian mate cup and bombillia. Both of the vases feature a white ground with gilt trim and hand painted bird themed design. One is marked with the Herend Hungary shield and crossed swords mark ‘Handpainted’ and ‘7192 RO 1’ to the underside. The collection also includes an Argentinian mate (a caffeinated drink similar to tea) cup and bombilla (pierced stirring straw) set. The cup features a gourd body with chased alpaca silver top and base marked ‘Industria Argentina Alpaca’ to the underside. The bombilla is marked with a maker’s mark and ‘Industria Argentina’ to the bottom end.
