A grouping of three marquetry wooden panels of European genre scenes by listed German artist Charles Spindler (1865 – 1938) circa the late 19th century. Each work features an ornate depiction of a European town, the largest of which features a pair of figures conversing along a pathway. Each work is made utilizing wood veneer marquetry, with a realistic quality and strong sense of detail. All are signed to the lower right with a hand carved signature by the artist. Two of the works have hand-written inscriptions on the verso. They are presented in wooden frames.

- minor scratches to surface of frames; minor wear to the wooden surface of the works; minor losses to wood veneer.
