C. 1929 Singer Sewing Machine with Table

Item Details

A vintage Singer sewing machine with table. This machine boasts a black finish accented with copious gold tone botanical motifs, including sphinx figures to the arm and bed. The arm bears the ‘Singer’ logo and is inscribed ‘Singer Manufacturing Co.’ An embossed metal cartouche marks the body. The bed is marked with serial number AC528421, indicating issue of the model in 1928. The machine rests in a wooden table with hinged, expandable work surface, four drawers, and a divided pull out tray. The table rests on a branded cast iron base fitted with a treadle, dress guard, and a casters to each foot. The side of each table has the cast logo of ‘The Singer Manfg. Co.’
