A 1982 original oil painting on board by Wisconsin artist Robert Lahmann (1922-2014). The Impressionistic painting depicts several figures walking through an industrial area, with a bridge visible in the distance and telephone poles towering over the scene to either side. It is rendered with short textural strokes in a muted palette. The work is signed and dated to the lower right. It is presented unframed, awaiting choice of presentation.

Robert Lahmann was a mid 20th to early 21st Century Wisconsin artist known for his watercolor, gouache and acrylic paintings and drawings, primarily landscapes and portraits.

Condition

- board is slightly warped with some cracking visible to verso. Wear to edges, including some paint loss. Light accretion to painting surface.
