A French chromolithograph poster, designed by Rudd and published by Affiches Gaillard circa 1925. This poster advertising escargot at the restaurant Ménetrel depicts a snail crawling across a large red leaf against a blue background, as a man in a bib peers out from behind the leaf with a fork. The image is signed in plate ‘Rudd’, and text to the lower right of the image reads ‘Société Nouvelle Affiches Gaillard Paris Amiens’.

- tearing around edges; creasing; page yellowing.
