Antique Michael C. Motch Coin Silver Spoon with Additional Coin Silver Spoon
Item Details
A pairing of antique coin silver spoons. This includes a spoon by Michael C. Motch of Covington, KY (active 1857-1899), which features an exaggerated tipped fiddle handle with pointed shoulders. It is stamped to the back ‘M.C. Motch’ and has a personalized engraving on the front of the handle. Also presented is a fiddle handle spoon, marked to the back ‘J.F.D’. The total approximate weight is 1.175 ozt.
Condition
- minor to mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and minimal tarnishing; bowl on “J.F.D” spoon has small dents and a tear to on side; personalized engraving on Motch spoon; (DCCPLS).
