Japanese Satsuma Fluted Plate
Item Details
A Japanese Satsuma porcelain fluted plate, Meiji Period (1868-1912). The plate appears with polychrome enamel and gilt decoration of various figural scenes in leaf-shaped reserves connected with ribbon. To the underside is gilt signature, ‘Hozan.’
Provenance: Previously in the Monteray Museum Collection.
