Hand-Knotted Baluch Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Baluch carpet runner. This wool and goat hair rug is rendered in a palette of brick, indigo, charcoal, and camel. The field features a row of eight diamond medallions, framed in a main running dog border. Framing the field is also panels of the woven warp, along with embroidered stripes, and striped skirted ends. Finishing the rug are double overcast selvedges and a natural warp goat hair fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
