1865 Leatherbound Pocket Diary
Item Details
An 1865 leatherbound pocket diary, published annually ‘for the trade.’ The dedication page has an embossed mark from D.D. Humeston Dry Goods, Groceries, Books, and Fancy Goods, Co. in Hiram, Ohio where the diary as purchased. On the free endpaper is a signature from the concluded owner, Marcell Newcomb who also wrote Hiram, Ohio. The diary has marbled fore edges. Hand written entries and notes appear throughout with calendars and individual day listings.
