A signed limited edition offset lithograph by Pennsylvania artist Robert Griffing titled Logan’s Revenge. Griffing (American, b. 1950) turned to painting after thirty years in advertising, with a continuous fascination for 18th century Eastern Woodland Native American life. This offset lithograph of the original painting depicts a Talgayeeta, Chief Logan of the Mingo, advocate of peace, calling for revenge after his family was slaughtered in a famous speech to Lord Dunmore. The print is double signed, in plate to the lower right and in plate with pencil to the lower left, where it is also numbered 1063/1250. The art is presented in a brown composite frame, with non-glare glass, triple decorative mats, and includes a hanging wire to the verso. It includes a certificate of authenticity by Paramount Press, Inc.
