A Peter Max ’Don’t Smoke’ offset lithograph poster. This poster by pop artist Peter Max (b. 1937), was part of a series commissioned by the American Cancer Society from the late 60s to early 70s. The poster features Max’s typically colorful psychedelic imagery and reads ‘life is so beautiful : stay alive : don’t smoke cigarettes’ across the top.

Condition

Unframed. Fold lines and tears. Poster was originally taped and later laminated.
