Russian 875 Silver Niello Trinket Box With Peter The Great
Item Details
An 875 Russian niello silver trinket box depicting the monument of Peter the Great in St. Petersburg. The inscription reads ‘From Catherine II to Peter I’. The box is designed in a rectangular form with chased scene of a rearing horse with Peter the Great and the city of St. Petersburg in the distance. To the bottom is a military vignette with cannon, flags and drums. Moscow, 84 and OE hallmarks are to the inside of the lid. The approximate weight is 2.18 ozt.

- to fair; small dent to the top of the lid.
