A pair of handmade quilts. The first quilt features a soft green cotton textile with a small-scale pattern, a candy-apple red border, inside which is a geometric pattern of triangular red pieces in various small prints, a red cotton backing textile with a small white pattern, and the maker’s signature cross stitched to one corner on reverse with the year 1994 and the pattern name Cut Glass Dish. The second quilt features a black, pink, and blue floral textile with a vibrant assortment of colored pieces, a bright magenta backing textile, and interior batting. The piece is signed by the maker in cross stitch to one corner on verso and includes the style name Black Mosaic with the year 1995.
