A signed embellished lithograph print by listed Israeli artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935-2012). This print, based closely on his painting Untitled (Waiting), depicts a woman in a floral red dress sitting at a cafe table near two floral arrangements. A framed portrait of a bald man hangs on the wall behind her. The lithographic print features hand-applied watercolor embellishments by the artist, and is signed in graphite in the lower right. The work is presented under glass with an off white mat in a gilded wood and gesso frame. A brass plaque displaying the artist’s name is mounted at the bottom of the frame. A hanging wire is included to the verso.
Condition
Good; a small nick to the upper center of frame, very light edge wear to frame.
