Reed & Barton Sterling Gallery Tray with Marquetry Inlay and Bon Bon Bowl

A pairing of sterling silver serving pieces. Featured is an oval gallery tray with a reticulated rail, integrated handles and four ball feet by Reed & Barton. The wood center is decorated with a French influenced marquetry inlay as well as a personalized engraving in cursive script. The rim is marked ‘Sterling 674’ with the Reed & Barton pictorial mark. Also included is a bon bon bowl with a wide pierced rim accented by embossed swag designs and a floral rim. The underside is marked ‘31 Sterling’ with no apparent maker’s mark. The total weight of the bowl, excluding the tray with wood components, is 6.345 ozt.
