An oil painting on canvas of a ship scene signed by an artist with the name A. Simpson. This Impressionist style painting depicts two personal boats docked to the foreground with drawn sails and a full hull, as a pelican perched on a wooden pylon watches nearby. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted signature. The painting is presented in a stained wooden frame featuring a scalloped edge with hanging wire to the verso.
