A handwoven Navajo accent rug by weaver Nora Wilkenson. This rug is woven in the Navajo style called Raised Outline Design, developed by Arizona Navajo artists in the 1960s. It creates a two dimensional textural effect on one side of the rug, while the other side is smooth. It features a geometric border in tones of cranberry and black, with a multi-color geometric center. The rug includes the original tag marked ‘Nora Wilkenson, rug #52, Raise Outline TNP.’
