An etching on paper titled Artillery Sargent by William Henry Shelton (American, 1840 – 1932) . This print depicts a soldier on horseback in the middle of a landscape and is signed in plate to the lower right. Mounted under a double layer of grey and black matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone gesso and wood frame with a floral design. A wire for hanging purposes and a decal with the artist name and title are present to the verso.

Condition

- nicks and scratches around the frame.
