5' x 7' Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Mahal Rug
Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Mahal rug. The lobed scarlet colored lozenge field features a large octagonal medallion with diamond shaped flanking pendants. The field is bound by indigo colored spandrels with guls that mimic the pendants. Minor Rhodesian borders and an alternating lobed flower principal border surround the field. The rug is finished with cotton warp fringe at either end.
