An artist’s proof color lithograph on paper of a girl playing lute by well-listed French artist Bertoldo Taubert (1915-1974). This print depicts a red haired woman wearing a light blue dress and playing the lute. She is rendered in a Impressionist style with the changing of the light and small brush strokes. This work is a numbered XV/XXV (15/25) artist’s proofs. Is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right corner. To the verso, is a handwritten tag. This work is presented behind glass in a white mat and wood frame. Hanging hardware is present to the verso.
Condition
- slight discoloration to paper; scratches and abrasions throughout frame particularly to lower right and left edges.
